The impact of this story does not seem very great for the front page, and yet the bizarreness of the article is definitely there. The news story does have conflict because the tribe did not want the scientists to build their station there. This story is current although it is not in our country it does effect us. It was our scientists that wanted to build that launch which would have furthered technology and research. Therefore that it is why this article has an impact on our lives. Even if it does not directly effect us.

A Brazilian tribe is being disturbed by scientists who want to build a rocket base near their village. According to The Wall Street Journal they are a 200 year old tribe that has lived among the stone ruins of the plantations, farmed communally, played drums, and revered spirits in the wilderness.
